Conversation with Ali Kazma

Ali Kazma has designed a special day for the Istanbul Modern Cinema program titled “The Act of Looking,” presented in parallel with his exhibition “Landscapes of the Mind” in the Istanbul Modern Photography Gallery. The program will begin with Frederick Wiseman’s National Gallery, a documentary filmed inside the London museum of the same name; it will continue with a selection of Kazma’s own films, curated by the artist. The day will conclude with a conversation between Ali Kazma and Müge Turan, who will moderate the session.
