In collaboration with the Consulate of the Czech Republic, İstanbul Modern Cinema is presenting “Spring in Prague”, a program of Czech New Wave films from the 1960s. On offer will be a selection of works by such directors as Jirí Menzel, Vera Chytilová, Milos Forman, some of whom fled the Communist regime and took refuge in Hollywood while others made their own mark on European cinema with their unique visions and productions.
