Istanbul Modern Cinema, in parallel with Prix Pictet: Power photography exhibition and in collaboration with Documentarist has prepared a documentary program consisting of 10 films. This selection of documentaries highlights the struggle for survival between humans and nature, social power struggles, occupation, and rebellion, revealing the dilemmas of power in today's world. These documentaries, ranging from the Khmer Rouge's massacre of filmmakers and cinema in Cambodia to Berlusconi's dominance of the media and the story of a group of environmentalists fighting against GMOs, examine the power-driven realities of today.
