Future is Short March 12–15, 2026

Istanbul Modern Cinema’s short film program Future Is Short foregrounds short film as an exploratory format – relatively independent of market pressures and sustained as a field of cinematic research. Bringing together a selection of outstanding short films produced in Turkey over the past year, from animation and documentary to experimental and drama, the program also creates opportunities for audiences to meet the filmmakers over three days.
