Jakob and Manu, who do not have a permanent home or steady job, have developed survival strategies for themselves. They live in a makeshift cabin in the woods and wash in the public swimming pool. They make the trifling amount of money they need by providing services to others. Jakob finds himself a new job at the airport. He reminds Martin, the pilot, of his deceased son, and Martin ends up offering Jakob a job as a replacement for his son. While Manu is thinking of going other places Jakob begins to feel more and more at home and comfortable with his new ‘family.’ The lifestyle they had been leading together is in danger of extinguishment. A successful first feature film in terms of both story and actors!
