In the early 1990s, as youth clashed with the police in the French suburbs, hip-hop culture became the most powerful expression of rebellion. Joey Starr and Kool Shen laid the foundations of Suprême NTM, which was born in this atmosphere and quickly became the biggest rap group in France. This biographical film chronicles the period from the group's formation in 1988 to its first major concert in 1992, through the group's music and attitude, the social dynamics of the time, and the rebellion of the youth.
