End of winter. Two hours at Orly Airport in Paris. The departure hall is full of passengers. A young woman on her way back home to her husband falls for a stranger. A mother and her son are traveling to the funeral of her ex-husband, the boy’s father. A young couple lose each another on their first big trip. A woman dares to read her husband’s break-up letter in public. All are waiting for their planes. Thinking only of their own fate in this subtly designed and functionalized building, they are unaware of the looming threat that will result in the airport’s evacuation. Orly is an innovative film about lifes in transit and relationships.
