Moroy, the driver of a wealthy boss entangled in shady dealings, is given a peculiar assignment in the middle of the night: drive from Baguio to Manila, pick up a T-shirt and a few pills, and come back. Over hundreds of kilometres, his sleepless mind drifts between past conversations, stories circulating among drivers, and his boss’s secret affairs. What appears to be a routine errand opens onto a dark journey into the workings of class, power, and invisible loyalty. With its 4:3 frame, the foggy, overcast atmosphere of Baguio, vintage Filipino songs, and fragmented narrative, the film builds a stylised, unsettling neo-noir from the perspective of those who stand right beside privileged lives but can never belong to that world.
