Tuesday nights at Istanbul Modern Cinema are getting a dose of blood, screams, and cult cinema! Young Tuesday’s new series, “Tuesday Trembles,” brings cult, bizarre, and spine-tingling gems of horror cinema to the dark theater one Tuesday evening each month.
We kick off with Ari Aster’s Midsommar, which tells the horror of a group of American young adults attending a midsummer festival in Sweden as Halloween approaches. Next up in November is Camp Miasma, the Jane Schoenbrun slasher that world premiered at Cannes and became one of the most talked-about horror films of the year. In December, we continue with Yeon Sang-ho's breathtaking zombie ride Train to Busan (2016).
We have a few new reasons to love tuesdays a little differently: a dark theater, free screenings, and a touch of the creeps!
