Bekir is a tradesman who is stressed out by the chaos of city life and decides to go to his hometown for a breather. All he wants to do to relax his mind is hunt, but the hunting season hasn’t started yet. Despite all the warnings of the villagers that hunting off-season brings bad luck, Bekir sets off to the woods. The villagers begin to blame him for all the bad events that happened after Bekir’s arrival. The film reveals the conflict and ever-growing chasm between city-dwellers and villagers, and displays the negative consequences of self-indulgence at the expense of respect for nature. The film competed for the Seyfi Teoman Best Debut Film Prize at the 35th IKSV Istanbul International Film Festival.
