Celal Tan is a respected professor of constitutional law living in a small town. One day, in a fit of jealousy, he kills his young wife at the front door of his house, while his son, daughter, grandson, and mother look on from the living room. But they all remain tight-lipped during the investigation. According to Ünlü, this black comedy “is for those who cannot understand why we should love and protect someone just because that person is our father or our sibling.” It’s surely no coincidence that the blind brother-in-law is the one who sees things the most clearly in this film, or that the murderer is a law professor...
