Cast:Giancarlo Giannini, Mariangela Melato, Riccardo Salvino

A group of friends go on a cruise aboard a luxurious yacht. When the pampered and rich lady insists on going out in a dinghy one afternoon, their vacation first turns into a nightmare, and then into a strange and fascinating love story. Rafaella insists on setting out to sea without paying heed to any of the warnings that it could be dangerous and asks Gennarino to accompany her. When the boat’s engine breaks down the two are stranded on a desert island where money is useless and survival skills are worth much more. It ends up in a complete reversal of the balance of power between the two who keep bickering about capitalism and communism. Far away from the constraints of civilization, the two eventually fall for each other despite their opposing world-views.
