Director reveals the labour and histories of cinematographer women all over the world with this documentary based on Women Behind the Camera by director herself. She watches women behind cameras in Afghanistan, Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Mexico, Senegal, U.S. and in other countries, underwater or in the areas of war, in Hollywood or Bollywood.

The documentary covering interviews with 50 cinematographer women as well as women and men supporting these women shares struggle stories of women in a technical area governed by men, from films shot secretly from Taliban government in Afghanistan to women who learn to use camera as a way of becoming stronger in India and Senegalese women striving to continue their professional lives despite men. Documentary also shares their skills, power, courage and dreams...
