The Côte d’Azur, 1915. While the Impressionist painter Pierre-Auguste Renoir, known for bringing out the emotionality of women in his paintings, is still tormented by the loss of his wife, his son Jean Renoir returns heavily wounded from war. But when a young girl blazing with life suddenly enters their world, both father and son are filled with inspiration and become rejuvenated. The film is about the relationship between Pierre-Auguste Renoir in his last years and Andrée Heuschling, his last model. It received four nominations at the 39th César Awards.
