This documentary is about the revival of the hand organ which enjoyed its heydays in Istanbul between 1850-1950. With the contribution of street musicians and recordings the films documents Greek piano-maker Panos Ioannidis making a hand organ and shows how the latter makes a new entrance into Istanbul’s everyday life.
