Grabbing worldwide attention with the filmParadise Now, the Palestinian director Hany Abu-Assad’s new film describes a tragic love story. Omar, used to dodging bullets in order to see his lover Nadya, plays a dangerous game with the Israeli security forces to get over the West Bank wall. However, turning into an insurgent with each passing, Omar is one day caught by the Israeli forces. Everything Omar knows and believes is destroyed when he is arrested. The film was awarded the Jury Prize - Un Certain Regard at the Cannes Film Festival in 2013.
