Stage actress Serap performs in an advertisement after which she suddenly loses her real identity and starts a new and monotonous life as Naciye, a housewife with two children. She does not know her husband or friends in this life. Two characters, stage actress Serap, struggling between dream and reality, and bank clerk Naciye, clash throughout the film. Aaahh Belinda is the tragicomic story of a free, independent woman told in a fantastical way combined with black humor. The film brought a new dimension to Turkish cinema, leaving its stamp on its era and won the awards for Best Film, Director, and Actress at the Antalya Film Festival.
