Sarmaşık is a cargo ship destined to Angola. When its owner goes bankrupt, the ship is detained in Egypt. The captain and five other crew members are forced to stay on board where they will have to face 120 difficult days. This long wait will turn into a tense hierarchical power struggle. This second feature by Tolga Karaçelik, known for his film Gişe Memuru (Toll Booth), premiered in competition at the Sundance Film Festival was awarded the “Best Director” at the International Golden Boll Film Festival in Adana.
