Young mother Filiz, struggling with postpartum depression, searches for ways to breathe within a life that feels confined to the home. Setting out with the idea of “a car of her own,” she meets Şule; the unexpected solidarity that forms between them becomes part of Filiz’s effort to rebuild her inner world. With an observational tone, the film examines the struggle to exist within the isolated spaces of urban life and women’s solidarity. I’m Here, I’m Fine earned Bige Önal the Best Actress Award at the Adana Golden Boll Film Festival.
