A silent documentary about the Bakhtiari tribe, who lived off animal husbandry and were forced to migrate to what is now Iran. Starting out in Ankara, the migration in the documentary offers us enchanting scenes of Anatolia in 1925. The fact that the directors would later rise to fame with King Kong is further intriguing. This film has lately been debated to be the first film to treat of the Kurds.
