A three-day journey from Türkiye to Georgia brings engineer Ferhat and Lia—a young Ukrainian surrogate mother whose life has been upended by the war—face to face with the consequences of an illegal surrogacy arrangement. After baby Ada’s birth, the outbreak of war forces Lia to remain with Ferhat’s family in Istanbul, leaving her torn between the possibility of a route to Europe and her reluctance to part from the child. As the story unfolds within the confined space of a car, fragments of their pasts, the weight of their choices, and the fragile bond between them gradually surface. Focusing on a city man’s reluctant return toward the rural borderlands, the film turns the journey into a terrain where confrontation and escape coexist.
