Destiny, which won the Golden Orange for Best Film and Best Actor, goes back to the younger years of two characters, Bekir and Uğur, from Demirkubuz’s 1997 film Innocence. The film takes us to the origin of the feelings that were to enslave them throughout their lives. In this story of passion and submission, which starts from the day they meet and continues for many years, Bekir’s desperate love for Uğur gnaws his life away, literally turning him into a misfit, while Uğur is blindly in love with Zagor, a prison buff. Destiny is a true story of blind love that tears our hearts out and makes us feel the whole weight of a passion to die for.
