Barcelona: A Map, 2007

Six characters suffering from urban solitude live in an apartment in Barcelona. A long-married couple, her brother, and three tenants: A blond woman who gives French lessons, a former soccer player who now works as a security guard, and a pregnant South American girl. The old man, who was formerly a doorman at the opera and who likes to dress up in women’s clothes, gets all the people living in the building together and asks them to leave as he is going to die and wishes to be alone during these last days of his life. In this old building in a Mediterranean city simultaneously with the passing of time we witness incest, adultery, and homosexuality which clash with the lives of these characters.
