Director:Denis Côté
Cast:Jean-François Bouchard, Cédric Doyon, Benoit Lapierre

Denis Côté is known for looking at his subjects of focus from different perspectives and for deviating from genre conventions. In hislatest film A Skin So Soft, we witness the unusual yet authentic world of six musclemen who have dedicated their lives to bodybuilding. The film focuses on the muscles and diets of these six bodybuilders as they work out at the gym to overcome bodily boundaries. Under Côté’s camera, which sweeps across the skin of his characters like a painter’s brush, the skin that covers the muscles becomes a different kind of surface.
