Long Friday: Solo Blues Dance Workshop

As part of Istanbul Modern’s “Long Friday” program, the Hadi Blues team present a blues dance workshop at the museum on Friday, September 25. In the workshop, participants learn the basic movements of blues dance and explore its characteristic features.

About Hadi Blues:

Founded in Istanbul in 2011 with the aim of sharing and promoting blues dance, Hadi Blues is a dance community that has played a pioneering role in the development of blues dance culture in Türkiye. Alongside regular dance gatherings and parties, the community organizes workshops and classes for participants of different levels. Focusing on the relationship between blues music and dance, Hadi Blues introduces participants to the fundamental steps, movements, and distinctive dynamics of blues dance.

The workshop is free for visitors who have reservations and museum tickets. 
The workshop is open to all visitors aged 10 and over.
Photography and video shooting permissions will be requested from the workshop participants. 
It is recommended to wear comfortable shoes and clothing.
