As part of Istanbul Modern’s “Long Friday” program, the Hip Hop Ladies Turkey team will lead a hip hop dance workshop at the museum on Friday, May 8. Participants will have the chance to learn the basic steps of hip hop dance accompanied by music, explore the culture, and express their creativity freely.

About:

Hip Hop Ladies Turkey is the first independent all-female hip hop dance collective founded in Türkiye. Prioritizing girls and women, they organize dance workshops, training programs, and performances across different cities in Türkiye.

The workshop is free for visitors who have reservations and museum tickets. 
The workshop is open to all visitors aged 10 and over.
Photography and video shooting permissions will be requested from the workshop participants. 
It is recommended to wear comfortable shoes and clothing.
