Analysis of Artworks with High School Students

Artwork Analysis with Secondary School Students  

This program focuses on the creative processes of artists with a variety of styles. 

Visiting Istanbul Modern’s collection exhibition with a museum educator, young students examine Fahrelnissa Zeid's "My Hell”, Kuzgun Acar's "Untitled", Nedim Günsür's “Miner", Burhan Doğançay's "The Magnificent Age”, Nur Koçak's "Cahide's Story” and Refik Anadol's "Infinity Room: Bosphorus”. The participants analyze the concepts of abstract, modern figurative, collage, photorealism, and contemporary art, and interpret the similarities and differences between the artworks.
