Art with Micro Forms

Can both science and art be done at the same time? How do observation and experiment transform into art?

The program focuses on exploring the relationship between science and art through the microscopic images of organisms that we cannot see with the naked eye. The workshop begins with a presentation featuring the works of artists who utilize different fields of science in their productions. In the workshop, where images of various biological forms captured with a microscope will be projected and examined, children create drawings based on the natural forms they observe.

Istanbul Modern awards a Participation Certificate to children who participate in at least five of the ten different workshops!
