Stains and Lines

How is stain used in art? How is line formed? What kinds of artworks can be created with stains and lines?

The program, focusing on fundamental concepts of art such as line, stain, and texture, invites children into the world of abstract painting. Starting with the interpretation of exemplary artworks from art history, the workshop concludes with children creating impromptu stains using watercolor techniques and designing patterns with lines of different characters.

Istanbul Modern awards a Participation Certificate to children who participate in at least five of the ten different workshops!
