Sculpture with the Ready-Made

How is a sculpture made? What ready-made objects might artists use in their sculptures?

The program focuses on the use of ready-made objects in contemporary art production. Children begin the workshop with a brief presentation on the history of sculpture and types of production. After interpreting the sculpture works in the museum's collection exhibition, the children create small sculptures by painting and assembling used cardboard tubes that have lost their original purpose.

Istanbul Modern awards a Participation Certificate to children who participate in at least five of the ten different workshops!
