The Istanbul Museum of Modern Art offers a rich, art-focused program for children during the semester break. From January 19 to 30, children ages 7 to 10 will explore artworks with museum educators and take part in workshops where they will create their own artistic productions.
The Semester Art School begins with an activity in which children examine selected artworks from the museum’s collection exhibition. They then discover examples from art history and conclude the program by producing their own works.
Each workshop in the Semester Art School focuses on different artistic concepts and methods of production. Participants may register for one or several workshops by choosing the dates that suit them.
Istanbul Modern will award a Semester Art School Participation Certificate to children who attend at least five of the ten workshops offered.
The program is held in Turkish.
Individual, Family, Silver, and Gold members and Genç Modern members enjoy a 10% discount.
