Her museum partners with the Centre George Pompidou in promoting young artists, and she sits on MOMA’s International Council in New York.”

Alongside Oya Eczacıbaşı, listed among the 10 patrons are; Carlos Slim Helu who was named the world’s richest person of 2011 by Forbes and opened Museo Soumaya in Mexico to house his collection of more than 60,000 works with an estimated worth of more than $700 million; Prada’s CEO Miucca Prada; Alice Walton, heir to the Walmart fortune; the prominent German manufacturer Reinhold Wurth; Dasha Zhukova, founder of the Iris Foundation and of Moscow’s Garage Center for the Contemporary Arts; Wallis Annenberg, president of the Annenberg Foundation; Bernard Arnault, chair and CEO of LVMH (Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton) and Christian Dior S.A.; Eli Board, a founder of the Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles; and Chen Dongsheng, founder of Taikang Life, China’s first private insurance company.
