A Selection from the Istanbul Modern Collection: The Second Exhibition

Within the scope of the project realized by Istanbul Modern, Turkey’s first modern and contemporary art museum, and Turkish Airlines, a special selection from Istanbul Modern was displayed in the Turkish Airlines Lounge - Business at Istanbul Airport.

In this second exhibition, Istanbul Modern presented a selection from its extensive collection, which comprises works by pioneers and leading exponents of the visual arts from Turkey and around the world. The selection brought primary examples of modern and contemporary art, and offers a wide array of art works that range from figure compositions that demonstrate the transformations taking place in art in Turkey post-1980s to works that show the significance of the use of various materials and techniques.
