With the support of “Istanbul Development Agency’s 2015 Financial Support Program for the Development of Creative Industries”, “The Istanbul Modern Platform for Crafts, Art and Design” aims to conceive projects that forge a link between past and present and create an environment for ideas and production where traditional and contemporary design and art practices meet. The panel takes place with the participation of artisans and the project’s designers/artists Hatice Gökçe, Atilla Kuzu, Adnan Serbest, Seyhun Topuz and Ekrem Yalçındağ, who will share their experiences and how they combine tradition with contemporary design and art.
