34th Istanbul Film Festival April 4–9, 2015

The 34^th Istanbul Film Festival will be held between April 4-19. During two weeks, the eyes of the city will be on the festival, which ranges from new examples of world cinema and award-winning movies to the latest films of Turkish cinema as well as its classics, and from new discoveries and masterpieces to conversations and parties with the participation of directors and actors. The festival features over 20 sections in which will be screened 204 films by 222 directors from 62 countries. Conversions and workshops with illustrious filmmakers and master classes and special events will also be held within the scope of the festival.

Istanbul Modern Cinema is among the movie halls of the festival, and, once again this year, will be hosting many films from major sections throughout the course of the festival. Furthermore, on Sunday, April 19, Istanbul Modern Cinema will welcome winners of the competitions for the “International Golden Tulip”, “National Golden Tulip”, “Best Documentary”, “Seyfi Teoman Best Debut Film”, and “Human Rights in Cinema: FACE Film Award of the Council of Europe”.
