Being able to interpret artworks is considered one of the crucial steps in strengthening cultural knowledge. As part of the "Young Tuesday” Education Program held in February, art historian, academic, and curator Fırat Arapoğlu shared the techniques of analyzing and interpreting artworks with young people. In this conversation, which is a continuation of the February event, Fırat Arapoğlu focuses on important works of modern and contemporary art.

Istanbul Modern, with the support of the Eczacıbaşı Group, invites all young people to discover art for free in its new museum building between 10.00-14.00 every Tuesday!

Bringing modern and contemporary art together with society, Istanbul Modern opens its new museum building exclusively for young people on Tuesdays. With the support of Eczacıbaşı Group, young people between the ages of 18 and 25 can experience Istanbul Modern free of charge between 10.00-14.00 every Tuesday.*

With the “Young Tuesday” program, young audiences have the opportunity to visit all exhibitions at Istanbul Modern free of charge, and to participate in artist workshops, talks and many other surprise events held every Tuesday for free. The events and activities within the program bring young people together with different artists.

*"Young Tuesday" is valid for visitors residing in Türkiye.

The program is held in Turkish.
