Atölye Modern
Istanbul Modern’s workshop and seminar program for adults, Atölye Modern, begins the spring term with new seminars. Atölye Modern’s 2024 Spring Term includes programs titled “The World of Contemporary Art” and “The Anthropology of Collecting.”
Istanbul Modern awards those who attend all the classes of the seminars an Atölye Modern Participation Certificate.
Atölye Modern seminars are subject to a fee. Participation is limited.
10% early application discount is available until April 1, 2024.

April 16–June 11, 2024, Tuesdays, 19.30–21.30
This seminar, led by Dr. Fırat Arapoğlu and Dr. Seda Yavuz, focuses on understanding art in the 21st century, its production forms and methods, and the historical context.

May 2–June 6, 2024, Thursdays, 19.30–21.30
Led by Assoc. Prof. Ebru Nalan Sülün, the seminar discusses through various examples how collecting as an area of cultural production has changed over time and how contemporary art collections are formed and evolved.
