Photo-journalist Robert’s life is in danger because of the photographs he took during a military operation. While escaping from people who he thinks might consider the photos unfavorable, Robert decides to go to Syria where he thinks he will be safe. During his stay in Istanbul he meets a female pop singer who is considerably younger than him and rouses up his eroticism. “Robert’s Movie” is an urban film centering on alienation, eroticism and the psychology of death. The film received critical appraisal for Patrick Bauchau’s extraordinary acting and Canan Gerede’s clear and fluent cinematic language.
