Back in Time November 21, 2015

Istanbul Modern Cinema presents the Turkish premiere of the documentary Back in Time, with the contributions of Istanbul Modern Cinema sponsor Türk Tuborg A.Ş. and with the partnership of Back to the Future Fan Club. The documentary was released worldwide a month ago to celebrate Back to the Future Day on the movie’s 30^th anniversary. Director Robert Zemeckis and producer Steven Spielberg’s 1985 blockbuster film Back to the Future and its sequels are considered the greatest time travel series in the history of cinema. With this three-film saga, which still retains its popularity today, they succeeded in gaining a large fan base that continues to grow to this day. In the sequel released in 1989, the series’ protagonists Marty McFly and Doc Brown traveled forward in time, precisely to October 21, 2015. The documentary Back in Time gives a behind-the-scenes look at the legendary series which is celebrating its 30^th anniversary this year. Besides the documentary, the program also features fan videos.
