“In the path of the Harbor” with ÇEKÜL Foundation

“HARBOR” EXHIBITION EVENTS

In the final event of the “HARBOR” exhibition, participants reflect on the notion of heritage and on industrial heritage, and gain awareness on what industrial heritage involves through group work and an interactive presentation. The event then continues with the activities “The Harbor over Time” and “Stories in the Path of the Harbor” based on the exhibition, as the participants discover the transformations that took place in Istanbul’s port areas and its history, and craft their own narratives. The program ends with a kind of farewell to the port area that also includes Istanbul Modern; a send-off in the museum’s courtyard housing the Darzanà project, “a carrier of stories from the Mediterranean and a reminder of the futility of demarcations on the seas”.

THE EVENT IS FREE OF CHARGE.

THE TALKWILL BE HELD IN TURKISH AT THE MULTIPURPOSE HALL.

PARTICIPATION IS LIMITED TO 20 PEOPLE.
