A Conversation Between Adrian Paci and Cristiana Perrella

Istanbul Modern hosts a conversation between Albanian-born artist Adrian Paci, featured in the exhibition Neighbours, and Italian curator/writer Cristiana Perrella. Paci speaks about his artistic practice, focusing on “Piktori,” exhibited at Istanbul Modern, and on his works in a new group exhibition at Gallery Manâ, Who Shall Deliver Us From the Greeks and Romans?, curated by Cristiana Perrella. Paci’s work have references to customs and traditions of the Balkans and touch upon shifts, such as immigration and starting anew that result from social and political issues in the region. A collaboration with Gallery Manâ, the conversation is held on the One Square Meter stage, set especially for Neighbours in Istanbul Modern’s temporary exhibition hall.
