During the long weekend days of quarantine, I realized that the chain that secures the street door of our house has been on for longer than 24 hours for the first time. Yet I only recognized that the curvature of the chain was reminiscent of the bell curve that tells us where we are with regards to the course of the pandemic, when I turned the photograph upside down, just as I was painting it using the colors of the virus.
